Our Love
Story
Our first date was at Nanyea, an Ethiopian restaurant and coffee bar in Dayton. Most of the time, we were the only two people in the restaurant. We ended up sitting there and talking for four hours.
Jordan proposed in Iceland... inside an ice cave.
We travelled to Iceland to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. Jordan planned the whole trip. One day, we were supposed to tour an ice cave in a group tour, but "everyone else cancelled" so we got a private tour. The only problem -- the ice cave we were supposed to visit was flooded due to unseasonably warm weather.
Our guide took us trudging through a field, up a glacier, and down into a valley. Dripping sweat (did I mention it was unseasonably warm?), we repelled down into an ice cave. Our guide instructed me to turn around, and that's where I said "yes!"
